I Choose to be Happy! Is it easy? We just moved into new rental apartment in Darque, in northern Portugal. It is across the river from Viana do Castelo. This is what is hanging on the wall in our bedroom: At first I was busy unpacking and organizing our life for the next 3 month (at list), and had no particular thoughts about the message in the frame. Then one day, we went to see the celebration of the Festa do Corpo de Deus in Caminha city, where streets were decorated with fresh flowers and the message from the bedroom wall décor just simply popped up in my head: I choose to be happy! It was easy to chose to be happy, when everything around so charming and peaceful. But try to to convince yourself to chose to be happy in the difficult moments. Even if it is just small irrigatable moments. I am reminding myself at those moments about the saying on the bedroom wall and repeat those words like mantra: "I choose to be Happy! I choose to be Happy!" I can tell you that there...
